My girlfriend and I stayed here this summer, it was roasting hot so we were quite glad of the pool and also the shade at the front of the Gite. The English lady who runs the place, Gillian, made us very welcome. There was a bottle of wine on the dining table when we arrived and this came as a welcome relief after the drive.
We visited Cordes-sur-ciel, St.Antonin-Noble-Val and Penne which are all about 15 mins from the Gite. I also spent a couple of days rock climbing and canoeing in the Gorges d’Aveyron, around St.Antonin.
The Gite we stayed in, ground floor, was lovely. It is definitely more on the rustic-charm side of things and rough round the edges, but we relaxed thoroughly and loved the stay. There were beautiful flowers growing over the covered terrace area where we ate our dinners. Gillian sent us on a few good walks and we intend to go back during the mushroom season as apparently they are rife!
I stayed with all family from Japan. it was first trip to France. We had a great time staying there. English owner, Gill was very friendly and very helpful. She recommend the place to eat and visit. We enjoyed and relaxed at swimming pool. It was a wonderful holiday with all my family.
